Description: Velocity Sports Performance is pleased to recommend the following Baseball Skills Coaches for your consideration. These coaches provide baseball coaching in our 37,000 square feet state of the art facility. Out facility has 14,000 square feet of turf, batting tunnels, pitching tunnels, pitching machines and much more. For more information, please contact these coaches directly. Matt Haefner Matt Haefner was a 4 year starter at Mankato State. He was captain his senior year and was named to the NCAA regional first team. Two time NCC player of the week and was 1st team NCC all-conference. Matt spent 4 summers teaching baseball clinics with Dean Bowyer (former head coach at Mankato State) Overall, Matt has won 7 ISC State Championships and participated in 6 World Championships. They were 1995 National Champs and he was named as the National Tournament MVP. He was 1st team all American and was the National Tournament Homerun Champion. At the 1995 Olympic Sports Festival Matt's team won the Bronze medal, and finished 5th at the ISC World Championship in 1996. To schedule training with Matt, please call him at 612.867.6787
